The sea buckthorn berries are ripe!
Beautiful, tart little guys, they're full of vitamin C. I don't know why, but they're not well known around here, and certainly there aren't many people growing them. We have one bush/tree, which provides us with more berries than we can use.
I usually freeze them, but this year I decided to make jam as well.
When we open these jars, we will most likely be in our new home. (In my mind I think of it as our imaginary home.)
